EverHaven provides concierge, non-medical, in-home personal care for adults across Maine who want to live safely and comfortably at home. Services include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, safety checks, medication reminders, and structured post-hospital support.
You may qualify if you need help with daily tasks, safety, or routine support; are recovering from surgery or hospitalization; have early- to moderate-stage dementia or cognitive changes; are a family caregiver needing respite; or prefer a private-pay agency with a small, consistent care team. Before care begins, an RN completes an assessment to understand your needs and build a personalized care plan.

We offer RN-led assessments and oversight, signature programs like our 72-Hour Post-Op Quickstart and 30-Day Hospital-to-Home Pathway, structured communication so families always know what to expect, and a private-pay model that supports longer visits and elevated service without insurance restrictions.

Getting Started
Simply call (207) 945-8184 or complete our online intake form to schedule a free care consultation. Within 48 hours, a nurse-led care coordinator will assess your needs, explain service options, and finalize your personalized care plan.
No medical referral is required. Eligibility is based on your ability to benefit from personal care tasks at home. We welcome anyone who needs support with daily living and wants to remain comfortable in their own home.
Care is scheduled based on your availability and needs. We offer flexible options and understand that life changes, so schedules can be adjusted anytime with advance notice. Reach out to discuss your ideal care schedule.
RN visit frequency varies based on your needs. For complex situations like post-hospital recovery, we check in more closely at the start, commonly around Day 3 and Day 7, then as needed. For more stable situations, RN visits may be less frequent. We recommend the right schedule after your initial assessment.
Pricing & Payment
EverHaven is private pay only. Rates vary based on your care plan, visit length, and schedule. After a quick consultation, we provide a same-day quote so you know exactly what to expect before services begin.
We accept credit or debit cards, ACH/bank transfers, and offer weekly invoicing for families. For clients with Long-Term Care insurance, we provide itemized invoices and documentation for reimbursement.
EverHaven is a private-pay agency and does not bill Medicare or MaineCare directly. Our private-pay model allows us to offer longer visits, predictable scheduling, and concierge-level service without the limitations of insurance-based care.
Our Caregivers
Our caregivers include certified PSS (Personal Support Specialists), CNAs, and trained home care professionals. Each is selected not only for their skill but for their integrity, empathy, and commitment to excellent care.
Every caregiver undergoes thorough state and federal background checks, reference verification, and hands-on training through our RN-led orientation program. We prioritize safety, professionalism, and continued learning to ensure our team meets the highest standards.

Safety & Privacy
All caregivers pass state and federal background checks and criminal-record reviews. We strictly follow HIPAA protocols and use secure communication tools to protect your personal health information.
Our caregivers follow strict hygiene protocols, use PPE when needed, and adhere to infection control policies aligned with Maine DHHS and public health guidance. During flu season, we add routine sanitization of high-touch surfaces and may adjust service frequency for client safety.
If a caregiver is unavailable due to illness or emergency, we activate our backup care protocol to ensure uninterrupted service. Our nurse-led team ensures communication and continuity remain seamless during any shift in care.
